Makayla

Makayla is a senior at CSUN studying Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. She joined the GOLD Lab to gain hands-on experience with research and technology while further exploring her interests in the field. She hopes to continue her education by attending Physician Assistant school, with an interest in specializing in sports medicine, where she can combine her passion for health and fitness with helping patients feel supported throughout their care and recovery. Along with working at a physical therapy clinic, she also works with a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships for osteopathic medical students. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, exercising, spending time with family and friends, and cooking and baking.
