Lila Pleitez

Lila is the Lab Manager at the CSUN Gold Lab, where she supports research focused on movement, mobility, and improving quality of life for individuals with movement disorders. She graduated with honors from California State University, Northridge, in May 2026 with a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Passionate about learning and meaningful research, Lila is currently taking a gap year while preparing to apply to medical school. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career in pediatric orthopedic surgery. Outside of the lab, Lila enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, spending time with her friends and family, and being with her pets.
